The Well Church was created to help the unsaved get to know who Jesus is, to help Christians develop a relationship with His Holy Spirit, and to help everyone to experience life in the Kingdom of God through healing, deliverance and freedom in God’s awesome glory!

A Welcome from Co-Pastors Kathy and Harold

Hello!  We are so excited that you have been lead to The Well Church's website! 

We believe that God sends those whose gifts and talents will blend to form a group of servant-leaders He can use in His Kingdom.  

We are a family of people who love the Lord and whose goal is to bring others into our family with a desire to fall in love with Jesus, as well.  Transformation is what we are all about!  We want to move from just being disciples of Christ, to being a people completely transformed by His Spirit!

We believe that everyone is a leader, in his/her own way.  Our mission is to assist others in the process of shedding any hindrances to their potential and then becoming the Kingdom leaders they were created to be.  

Your job is to take advantage of all that God has placed here for you and to walk in the power and authority that He has given to all believers, in Jesus’ name.  Therefore, attend the classes, make yourself available to serve and support and more than anything, study His Word and pray always, listening for His voice and spending time in His presence!

Ordinances of The Well Church

Baptism in Water

The ordinance of baptism by burial with Christ should be observed (as commanded in the Scriptures) by all that have repented of their sins and in their hearts have believed on Christ as their Savior and Lord. In doing so, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they have also been released to walk with Him in newness of life.

The Lord’s Supper (Communion)

The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing in a memorial to His suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming, and is enjoined to all believers “until He comes.”

Kathy D. Booker Co-Founder and Pastor

Pastor Kathy Booker is a purpose-driven, passionate intercessor.  Her call in the Body of Christ is activating others in their gifts.  She is a native of Port Allen, LA,  where, under the leadership of her Pastor-Father, the late Rev. John C. Harrison, she developed the gift to teach and a sincere desire to see others grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.  Kathy accepted her call to ministry in 1999, was licensed in 2011 and ordained in 2017.  She is a wife, mother and grandmother, her three favorite titles.  She is also an author; her first book, Getting to Know Yourself as Well as the Devil Knows You, was published in 2016.

Kathy is the visionary and co-founder of The Well Church NEO, which she and her husband, Rev. Harold Booker,  launched in January of 2019.  Her life is characterized by Ephesians 4:32  “Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”

Harold Stafford Booker is a native of Canton, Ohio, where he received his foundation in Christ and in Ministry.  Harold’s love for the Lord and desire to work with young people has driven him to give countless hours of service as a Choir Director, Youth Director and Youth Advisor in many multiple organizations throughout the Body of Christ.

Harold accepted the call to the ministry in the year of 2003 and was licensed and ordained on February 13, 2008.  Since that time, he has served as an Interim Pastor the St. Mark Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio and the Progressive Baptist Church in Warren, Ohio.  He served as the Associate Pastor of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio.  

Harold’s primary Spiritual Gift is that of Administration, which is evidenced in his work with churches throughout Northeast Ohio. Furthermore, his Administrative Gifting has been seen through educating children, which is also his passion.

Harold is a Husband, Father and Grandfather.  He is one of the Founders and Co-Pastors of The Well Church of NEO, with his wife Kathy D. Harrison-Booker.  His love for family and wisdom in organizational matters are two of his most notable characteristics

Lastly, Harold is guided by the words of his favorite scripture, Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.”

William A. Kennedy Pastor of Worship

Min William Kennedy was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. He is a husband, father, leader and educator. He graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 2005 and went on to study Philosophy and Religious Studies at Youngstown State University and is continuing his education at Strayer University. From an early age he has been serving in ministry as a Choir Director, Youth Director, Summer Youth Enrichment Coordinator and Bible Study Teacher. He accepted his call to preach and was licensed in 2014 and ordained in 2019. He firmly stands on 1 Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;”  His passion and life’s mission is making sure many people have relationship or come into relationship with Jesus Christ!
